Ekahau Site Survey 8.0.0 crack
CAD floor plan (DXF or DWG) required.

Only supported in 64 bit operating systems.

Wall Outlining Wizard (WOW) eliminates the need to draw walls – as long as you have CAD drawings.

Open a DWG or DXF floor plan (Map > Add Map or use the + button)
Associate the CAD layers of the main walls, windows and doors (left-most column) with the matching RF attenuating materials (drop-downs in the center column). You DON’T need to associate all layers, often a fraction of the layers is enough.
Press import
WOW will remove the complexity of the CAD drawing, leaving you with a simple representation of the RF absorbing walls.
Continue network planning normally
Wall Material Editor

If you need to edit the wall materials:

Select the Wall tool
Click on the wheel
Edit the material
To add or remove, use the + and – buttons.

Throughput Site Surveys

Network connection required.

Second computer required in the network to act as the throughput server.

To measure the network performance, use throughput surveys as an alternative to traditional, ping-based active surveys.

Throughput surveys measure throughput, packet loss (UDP only) and jitter (UDP only).

You can either run a ping test or throughput test using any non-Ekahau Wi-Fi adapter. The Ekahau Wi-Fi adapter (or Proxim 8494) will be used for passive surveys.

For throughput testing, you will need to have another computer in the network to run the throughput server software.

Ensure no firewalls or such are blocking the traffic between the ESS computer and the throughput server computer
Download Ekahau iPerf (v3) throughput server from http://sw.ekahau.com/download/ess/throughput to your server computer
Start the throughput server
Start ESS
Click the Mini Active Survey View to open it
Instead of “Ping”, select “Throughput”
Configure the desired throughput settings.
PLEASE NOTE: Ekahau throughput server only supports iPerf v3.
Perform surveys normally

Use the Throughput, Jitter (UDP only) and Packet Loss (UDP only) heatmaps to analyze the results. Also, move the mouse on the survey route to analyze throughput details.
